This study offers a particular interpretation of an important document in Arabic language of 1957 entitled “Min al-Gaza'ir al mugahida ila huggag Bayt Allah al-haram". The object of the analysis is a historical record: not a simple datum, but a fragment of universe. The author of the article presents a phenomenon of terrorism in the Balkans throughout the 19th, 20th an 21st centuries. She highlights a thesis that specific phenomenon of terrorism in the region requires additional studies, mostly of heuristic nature. Among the types of Balkan terrorism there is terrorism connected to national and liberation movements and political terrorism.
